Kitchen Window Inspiration

This is going to sound so silly, but I am so excited to have a window in my kitchen.  Particularly that I will have a window at my kitchen sink.  I think my weird excitement about this comes from the fact that when you are renting, you get no windows in the kitchen (in most cases).  I always saw these cute kitchen windows on Pinterest and I pinned them thinking "one day" I'll have it.  And I do!

Patterned roman shades are exactly what I need.  Unfortunately I don't have enough room in the window to add herbs like I had imagined but I may do some hanging ones on the sides of the cabinets.  Even though I spend a lot of time in the kitchen, I don't want to over do anything at the same time, because down the road, we want to do some major upgrades there.  Way down the road.

It is so difficult to find fabric! Or am I just that picky?

  1. I love having many windows at home, as it makes the house more well-lighted and well-ventilated. Also, windows are important, particularly in the kitchen, because it's where we cook and the smell of the foods might get stuck inside if there's no window to let the odors out. Anyway, I love your window inspirations. I hope to see one of your own soon. Thanks for sharing this! Take care!
