Weekend Shoes

I don't know about y'all, but I think I realized I was getting "older" when I realized that I wanted to wear comfortable shoes more often than wanting to buy another pair of high heels I knew I wasn't going to wear enough to get my cost per wear down. Don't get me wrong, I'm not giving up on cute shoes, I'm just talking about how I'm definitely choosing flats over heels more these days. I have countless pairs of ballet flats that I just love but when it's time for the weekend, I live in my Keds or Toms. They are perfect for the farmer's market, running errands, flea market hunting, etc, etc. Luckily for those like me, there are a plenty of choices out there when it comes to sneakers or casual shoes that are just perfect for weekend wear.

Growing up I HATED Keds -- I felt like the least-cool kid at school wearing Keds with lace trimmed socks when everyone else Nike or Addidas sneakers. Literally knock me over with a feather that Keds are this cool again. And yes, I love wearing sneakers whenever I can (I wear flats or lace up oxfords to work very often). Heels every day seems like I'm just begging for bunions in the next decade. Jenn
