Blue and White Moroccan Tiles

I know I've referenced last year's trip to Spain probably one too many times on the blog, but one of my favorite destinations was Granada where the Muslim influence of intricate tile work still dominates the architecture.  Since we've been back, I feel like I have been seeing American designers embracing this traditional Moroccan tile work in everything from bathrooms to backsplashes.  And the best thing about these tile designs?  Blue and white are always a key feature of the color mix!

Floor to ceiling tile is definitely a strong statement, but if you aren't feeling so brave, try an accent wall behind the sink to add some exotic flair. via
This is actually tile-inspired wallpaper!  As if we needed more reasons to be tempted into wallpapering the home.  via

Have a little home project?  I put together some great Moroccan tiles for purchase around the internet, whether you turn them into a backsplash masterpiece or into some do-it-yourself coasters.  images are affiliate linked
