High Point Furniture Market: Cotton + Quill

One of our absolute favorite booths at this year's Market was that of bright and graphic textile designer, Mary Catherine Folmar of Cotton + Quill.  This Alabama based designer personally draws all of her the patterns used in her textiles, and then has them printed onto fabric right here in North Carolina.  Her work is kind of the definition of what we love here at East Meets South; tons of global and Asian influences in her pattern and design choices, with a mix of preppy colors that would seem at home in any traditionally Southern home.

And she designs lovely wallpaper too -- a garden stool pattern interspersed with bamboo grids?! Yeah, we're on board.
